ECG
Measurement of the heart’s electrical activity. The examination is performed while you lie still and provides important information about heart rhythm and the conduction system
Spirometry
A breathing test that measures lung function and provides valuable information when investigating symptoms such as shortness of breath
Echocardiography
An ultrasound of the heart that provides detailed information about its structure and function. It is performed with ultrasound gel and is painless and harmless
Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
Measures blood pressure at home and during daily activities over 24 hours using a small, automatic device. The results provide a better basis for assessing treatment compared to a single measurement.
Blood tests
We arrange the referral for blood tests at the local hospital. The test results are sent back to us electronically, and you will be informed of the results along with the next steps in your care plan
Exercise stress test
The heart’s electrical activity, heart rate, and blood pressure are assessed during exercise on a stationary bicycle or treadmill. This test can help detect coronary artery disease and evaluate heart function under physical stress.
Carotid ultrasound
Ultrasound of the carotid arteries provides detailed information about blood flow and any narrowing. The examination is painless and also helps assess the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Heart rhythm monitoring
A wireless sensor that monitors heart rhythm over several days as part of the evaluation of heart rhythm disorders. You will be contacted by a physician once the results have been reviewed and interpreted.
